Battlefield 4 Lead Designer...

I liked to aim with R2 and L2 on Borderlands :O

While i agree with him, it is going to be the controller of the gen. I still don't want to use R/L 2 to fire. the 1's are so much faster. The joke was always on the crowed that believed the triggers where better over the 1 buttons. Just give me the option and i'll be happy.

Guess everything before 1994 were simply just boxes with wires inside.

It's easy and fast with R2/L2 but they are so bad in Dual Shock 3 that at the end the L1/R1 was better.

Now you see why R2/L2 is way bettter

And options to change that is always good.

I changed the title to Gen8... he said Gen4 but I don't want confusion and SNES Gen was so EPIC too

It looks like an absolutely beautiful controller. I love longer handles and the potential of the touchpad too for navigating menus and stuff. Navigating menus on the PS3 after using something like the Wii U gamepad feels like a generational leap backwards.

I do see why the R2/L2 buttons are better over the old ones. That's plain as day, but the 1 buttons where better than the 360 triggers too. The speed in which I can fire is insane. That can't be matched by the longer throw of the 2 buttons/360 triggers. The difference is between a normal trigger and a hair trigger. And it is massive.

Maybe we will have an option to use R1/L1 instead. I'm so used to those by now. I also don't get why the triggers are so great. Why do I need to pull a trigger to aim down my sights? lol. Maybe I can get used to it.
