Already have PS+, will also probably buy around 5 games in the launch window as well.

In Australia, yes. Games are around $60-100+ depending on what you get. I would opt for digital but I want to pay for everything now so I can save up for Christmas presents for everyone and just having spare cash around that time of year is always handy.


get everyone presents?! what are you crazy?!! there is no reason to love people and get them presents. live your life alone and just have video games as your only true love and the one thing you care about. 


I'm lucky. What I give, I usually get in return. My girlfriend has been... convinced to get me a 3DSXL for Christmas. It's going to be a great gen for me!


that sounds great, 3ds sure is becoming a beast of a gaming device.

550$ just for the ps4 + 2 games(or 1 game/ps+ 1year) = ~$700(cost of x1 only, btw), but i probably won't get it this year.

Not getting it at launch obviously, but when I buy one, discounting price cuts:

Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze: $60
Batman Arkham Origins: $60
TOTAL: $548 AUD

For now my preorder consists of -

PS4 - $549
Killzone SF - $118
Knack - $118
PS Plus - $70
Total- $855 Australian.

The game prices are just placeholders. Hopeing they will be around 100 considering they are both 1st party. Will probably be getting a second controller and definitely going to get a larger harddrive. So initial investment will easily go over $1K.

On a sidenote anyone that wants to buy driveclub don't. Subscribe to PS plus instead as it will come with it. If you're already subscribed even better. You get it free at launch.

maybe 3 games for xbox one = $180

$1080 plus more shopping for games on black friday so it'll be more. 

I hope there is a wii u sale on black friday so i can buy one.

Wow reading this thread just made me glad I'm holding off on buying at moment.

Just got a Wii U a few weeks ago with trade in I got the Wii U deluxe, Lego City and Mario U for only $150.

Doubt would get that good of a deal for the ps4 of one. I traded in all my games I didn't want. The rest are games I want to keep forever. And trading in a launch ps3 or launch 360 I doubt will help towards purchase.

Gonna just stick with Wii U, PC, PS3, 360, and 3DS games for now.
