Considering what kind of game smash bros is, that's impossible. There's a limit on how good you can make a game like smash bros look. You add other things into the mix, like the detail to the character models which, while there are numerically less, the finer details are great.

I still feel there's a lot of places where Smash U could be improved visually; the effects for explosions and attacks look very Wii-esque, for a start.

The Smash Bros. games have never been graphically advanced, NEVER, not on the N64, not on the GC, not on the Wii, and it's not gonna be on the Wii U...

But, Oh my motherf... God... Anyone that says that Brawl looks better, really needs to have their eyes checked, or really doesn't knows what they're talking about. The difference in detail is massive, and I'm not talking only about resolution or AA.

I mean, look at Link's fu***** hair now looking like motherfu****g real hair, his goddamn chainmail perfectly detailed, the perfect texture and the increased polygon count of his damn tunic, his perfectl elvish face where you can't see a motherf***** polygon merging...

Seriously, are you all kidding me? SERIOUSLY? Really, some of the responses here made me want to hit my damn face against my damn keyboard...

The Wii U version is going to look MUCH better in MOTION. Seriously. The bump to 1080 alone is going to be worth the price of admission. At least now when the camera zooms out you will be able to see everything with clarity on a big screen!

This game isn't meant to be X. Its about everything else BUT graphics... but still the graphics will be fine.

It's laziness. This and Mario 3D World show Nintendo not even trying on the graphical front.

Could be... tough in all honesty the art style doesnt help either. Its cartoony so you cant get much better then this.
