I think Sony need to lower their forecast now.

This is literally my response. Well done MS, well done indeed. I think it's about time I stopped called the Xbox One Xbone. Ithink I'll opt for some other shorthand. Anyone got any ideas?

I call it the XBO because it sounds like a TV channel.

Blimey days, didn't see this one coming. Especially since Microsoft seemed to have the support of enough loyal gamers no matter what they did, after weeks and weeks of battering them with misjudged announcement after misjudged announcement.

Suddenly, the next-gen race seems a whole lot more interesting...

Plus points for them doing this. Minus points for the fact that it had to come to this in the first place, but a net gain overall. Maybe I'll now be convinced to get an Xbone far down the line to play Sunset Overdrive + ____ + ____ if two more games catch my eye.

Oh, and it seems I like Jim Sterling now. His coverage of this whole ordeal has had me smiling.

Good news for gamers. How people defend DRM though is quite beyond me.

I disagree... people that peorderer PS4 over Xbone forced that... MS was just loosing by a lot the war before the console launch... in the preorder battle.

All the Gamestop mess yesterday was just do show how bad the Xbone numbers was in preoders... I mean 10 for 1 in US to PS4... somethink like that.

Sony doesn't need the US as much as MS. Sony will be fine.

Seems like console peasants still like disks. How quaint. Apparently most of you game in a ghetto without good internet.
