Blimey days, didn't see this one coming. Especially since Microsoft seemed to have the support of enough loyal gamers no matter what they did, after weeks and weeks of battering them with misjudged announcement after misjudged announcement.
Suddenly, the next-gen race seems a whole lot more interesting...
Plus points for them doing this. Minus points for the fact that it had to come to this in the first place, but a net gain overall. Maybe I'll now be convinced to get an Xbone far down the line to play Sunset Overdrive + ____ + ____ if two more games catch my eye.
Oh, and it seems I like Jim Sterling now. His coverage of this whole ordeal has had me smiling.
