after discussing so much, what if GT5 is not released this year? Mario Kart is more fun, and Wii already prove fun means more sales. GT5 is awesome, but less fun.

IMO Mario Kart Wii will easily outsell GT

GT5: 9-12 million

Mario Kart: 7-9

Hell I dont expect Brawl to get passed 10 million so why the hell would Mario Kart.

^BTW im really leaning towards 6.5 million sold world wide but I rounded up.

All things considered, I think it will be Mario Kart Wii.(I think the installed base of Wii's is the key reason)

Granted it's not really right to compare the two games since they are at opposite ends of the racing spectrum.

Of course I'm a little biased... I'll take Mario Kart or Burnout over any sim-y racer any day. I may RENT GT5, though, It definitely a nice game to look at.

MK Wii will sell 17 million
