Forums - Microsoft - GameStop pulling Xbox One from their system due to supply issue?

A quick check online will prove this false, why waste your time making this thread?

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned.

Top 50 'most fun' game list coming soon!

Tell me a funny joke!

Prices might be high come eBay time, but for MS that means nothing. It won't drive additional software sales.

You would rather customers buy your console from a retailer rather than from a scalper.

Well atleast it will outsell the Wii U :)

That was just harsh xD

Sorry yojohn about the long quote trees. I even edited one to make it short, I got kinda spastic... this thread was kinda fast, first time I've replied so quickly. Boring day off from work!

It's just that simple.

They may supply issues or the preorders may be much higher than anyone thinks...in any case, I got to preorder mine today. Best Buy, WalMart, anyone?

Is the reason MS is releasing in more coutries also be a factor.

Wouldn't there be a limit on those 'day one' editions? Maybe those were just extremely limited and sold out.  Wouldn't want the embarrassment of selling Day One editions week or months post launch because nobody bought them.

The Vita launch was infact pretty embarassing. They had to discount the Launch bundle by $50 six months after. But I do think there won't be any supply problems with the XboxOne will be a hard sell for $500.

The reason why it isn't really good news is because now the PS4 has a great chance to gain an upper hand in the US, which is the XBox' strongest territory.

The more people get a PS4 the more likely their friends will as well, especially if XBones are not available.

You would always rather have supply than not have supply.

Maybe. But the flip side of the coin is if the item is hard to find it will have a very high demand for it, thus eBay prices sore and it becomes the hottest item to find come Christmas season. Look at the Wii sellouts at launch, not the Wii U mind you.

It would feel like an insult to MS. Can't sell games so I'll sell the console instead. I know it's not used but it's pretty ironic.

There is a issue in your comment... the thread subject is true.

A lot of different sources have said the system will be in short supply due to yield problems. SONY seems to be in a better position during the Holidays in terms of supply.

Guys, can we panic yet?
