well...qutie a strong opinion you have there. Liars huh? There is no doubt there is likely some type of financial backing involved to ensure Respawn is exclusive, but what does Zampella or Respawn have to gain from lieing? Please, correct me if Im wrong but I assume your preferred gaming platform isn't something from Microsoft? Really the potential of cloud compute in gaming has surely not been fully realized yet, but gaming is moving closer to a more online experience. And of course cloud computing can enhance that. Of course certain lag sensative data could not be processed in the cloud at least until our connections are virtually lag free, but there are many things developers can process in the cloud that are not lag sensative. Don't call it bull until you see how its implemented. I just don't understand why you think Zampella or Respawn would gain anything from lieing about advantages they have captured in the development of their game. |
Yes, a strong opinion based in fact. The fact is they are lying. You can't sit here and say, well the reason we went exclusive is because of the cloud tech in the Xbox One, when that cloud tech isn't exclusive to Xbox One. He knows it isn't exclusive, so either he's lying, ir he's the dumbest son of a bitch on earth, and shouldn't be talking to any journalist about anything.
As for my prefered method of gaming, it is classic controller gaming. I don't care which system the game is on, unless that system places restrictions on me and how I game. I will not stand by and let any of the companies screw me either. Right now I game on PS3 my laptop, my phone and my wii very rarely (I know I'm a retard because there are some gems on that system). I got rid of my 360 because I didn't see the value in Xbox live. That said, I sorely miss Halo and Gears and almost went against my principles and purchased another 360 just to experience their exclusives once again. Now that they have mentioned giving away games to gold members, I will buy another 360 as long as this is permanent and not just a one time thing. I will not buy the One unless they offer regular physical copies that I can sell, borrow, or trade whenever, however I choose.
As for the cloud I think you are right, but cloud computing isn't exclusive to MS and everyone in the industry knows this, so their excuse makes them liars.
