I could definitely live without ROB, falco, wolf, jigglypuff, lucas, mr. game&watch...and the wii fit trainer. but then again, as long as they keep luigi (not that I have any doubt about that) I'll be happy.

As far as new characters are concerned, I think it would be kinda cool if the Skyward Sword version of Zelda would be in the game as an alt skin.

EDIT: and snake can go as well

The onlyl character with a unique moveset that was removed in the transition from Melee -> Brawl was Mewtwo, and he was planned for the game and was likely cut due to time constraints. I HIGHLY doubt Rob, Game & Watch, and the Ice Climbers are goign anywhere. The only real cuts I can see happening are Toon Link, and maybe a Fire Emblem or Star Fox character.
