I hope Cage goes back to Omicron's concept for Singularity, Nomad Soul is still one of my all time favorites.

It's a pretty cool game.
Doesn't really have anything to do with what I said though, considering Cage's idiotic comments that he makes these days, and his recent games.
I LOVE ICELAND!

Perhaps his comments don't fit that much, but I have not found any hollywood garbage in his games. Perhaps a lot of plot holes in order to create drama, but not garbage. Fahrenheit was nice too, and perhaps Heavy Rain was way too much story-driven, but he's changing that with 3EYOND.

The thing is, Heavy Rain is what he wants to make. No, he probably wants to make an even more restrictive game.
By his interviews, I get the impression that he is not interested in gameplay, or player choice. All he wants to do is create an experience that the player does nothing but absorb.
He's in the wrong medium.

Perhaps. But as long as he makes games, one shouldn't complain. You may not like his attitude, (and of course you can critisize that behaviour) but hey.
I can't believe you actually said that Remedy games share the same spirit as Quantic's, though. That's wrong on so many levels.

Perhaps I got that impression because Alan Wake was touted as competition for Heavy Rain when those games released.
EDIT: Wasn't Alan Wake marketed as a 'psychological action thriller'? That sounds like movie marketing to me.
I LOVE ICELAND!

The only reason Alan Wake was touted as competition is because they were both exclusive to different consoles. It was a matter of Heavy Rain (Ps3) vs Alan Wake (Xbox 360). Alan Wake is marketed as a psychological actoin thriller indeed. The game itself is narrated into a TV series estructure. Outside of that, Alan Wake has a very strong story, a solid gameplay (albeit repetitive by the end of the game) and a killer soundtrack.
