Look at the sample size. These numbers don't matter, it will be more interesting a month or two before launch

Not sure how it is all over the US, but if you check Amazon, the PS4 has 5 SKUs in the Top 10. And it looks like the PS4 Watch Dogs Bundle will eventually edge out Xbox One for the #2 spot. PS4 BF4 bundle may edge it out of 3rd eventually, too. And I can't remember were I read it, but they were saying Gamestop was getting more preorders for the PS4, as well.
Edit: I guess you can just look at Gamestops website. The PS4 SKUs and the Dual Shock 4 take up ALL Top 7 spots. While the Xbox One is #9.
The PS4 will probably sell at a higher rate for the remainder of the year post-launch but I think it will have more to do with that price differential than anything else. Most people don't even know what DRM stands for but they certainly know what a $100 difference means.

No evidence, no named source... not gonna believe this is legit, but EVERYONE I talk about gaming with is in the PS4 camp after E3 and all this DRM/online authentication nonsense, and it's £80 cheaper, so it wouldn't be surprising to me if the figures were actually accurate.

Why should we get wet dreams over this? If its true, than good for Sony and bad for MS... they could potentially destroy a brand that they built for 12 years.
If not, than time will tell who will be the winner. Never the less, you have to admit it, that the situation looks far less rosy for MS than it did a year ago.
