Forums - Nintendo - Right that's it! I can't take it anymore

If I hear the words can we play Skylanders or if i see anymore Skylanders anymore I'm going to crack, my partners son is eating into my WiiU gaming time, it was fun the first couple of play throughs but now it's become a chore, his gran accidentally bought him skylanders giants for the WiiU instead of the Wii, and it doesn't help she buys him a new Skylanders every couple of weeks, When I get home from work "can we play skylanders" agghhhhhhhhh, I've told my partner he's having a WiiU for Christmas, I can't be having this when Pikmin3 and Windwaker come out. And if it's not her son, it's my partner wanting to watch Netflix, I thought I bought the WiiU for myself not everyone in the household, he has a Wii and a 3DS but still wants to play my WiiU more, I even bought him Luigi's mansion a few weeks ago thinking that would keep him quite for awhile, but then he comes home with a new Skylander that his gran bought for him, thanks gran :/

You sound like a monster... seriously. Whats wrong with you? Buy another WiiU or simply let them play, you are a grown man, and if something small like this bothers you, I wonder why in the world would anyone choose you as their partner...

Vote the Mayor for Mayor!

Welcome to the world of parenting. Don't like it, get out of the relationship now. The kid deserves better.

I do not get this craze. I have looked at the toys, scanned their bodies on the hologram device, and even played the game. What is it that drives little kids wild? My kids are wild about pokemon though, but I grew up with them, so I understand that.

It's fun for a couple of play throughs, but it's expensive, it also freezes the WiiU a lot, if you don't press home button every so often the home button stops working, but yeah looks like ones going to come out every year with a new set of characters.

It's a stupid game IMO, and my brother is going ape shit over it too, but I think your approach to the kids is a bit.. Lacksture, IMO they should have the priority as they are children, if you didn't want that, should have brought a 3ds like I did for my brother so he doesn't hog my 360 with that crap, but if I didn't buy 3ds he would probably camp my room.

I really do not understand what's so amazing about this game, I really don't. But I guess it's like Pokemon for this generation, albeit unnecessary and in most cases probably more expensive, Pokemon still exists after all.

Edit, my bad didn't read that he already has a 3ds and a wii, that's a bit spoilt, but unfortunately the little fuckers have priority, just the way of life. Luckily I don't have a 360 skylanders lul.

Disconnect and self destruct, one bullet a time.

Some of you guys are real drama queens and it aint the OP

You need to make a schedule. You get your gaming time and the kid gets his. Merely letting him have it the way he wants it will just turn him into a spoiled brat.

I never said the kid always deserves what he wants, didn't I? If the OP cannot set boundries or get his partner to do so then, yes more harm can come to the child. Ya don't like what's going on, ya gotta handle it.

OMG, you know, you should be glad they're liking the product that you like to play on. But then again, if it was a 1 party game, I would've sided more with the lad. XP

But yes, there should be more equal time sharing involved until the next WiiU arrive... Until then, good luck ol'chap! X'D
