Are people expecting to get banned? Are they loud mouth abusive pricks on LIVE? Or criminals who hack or pirate? If not... What's the problem?

Do you really think the fact that someone is being a "loud mouth abusive prick" warrants stealing potentially hundreds of dollars worth of content back from them?

If you could buy avatars on this site for real money and well, you banned a real fuck head, would you let them back on the site to customize? Why ruin the experience online for many just for a few d-bags?

This isn't really new, its like the way it is now with your digital games. Just that everything in the next One is (in effect) all digital.

For most people it's pretty hard to get banned unless you hack or mod your box. Like the wonderful moderators here on VGChartz, they usually give you plenty of warnings.

It seems like for some people, that is the first time they have ever had to suffer consequences from their behavior.

Still, getting banned would be a mighty sad day in anyone's life.

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned.

Top 50 'most fun' game list coming soon!

Tell me a funny joke!

For the first time I must say Microsoft has confused me...Xen already posted the video where Larry hryb says you keep access to your games...

Or, someone else hacks your account and gets you banned?  So now, griefers who really hate someone and want to mess up their lives, can hack an account and get their target banned.  BAM, they lose access to ALL their content, EVEN single player only experiences.

Isn't that just cluching at straws? Would this not also happen on a Sony console?

What the MS thing is like is if you get thrown in prison for stealing a car, the courts also take away your house even though you bought your house through honest means.

Lol, it is nothing like that... I think you've been playing too many video games. If a person brakes the law through pirating, fuck them. They're stealing! If a person hacks games or has a phishing scam to steal other peoples ms points or now money they've put into their MS account, fuck them. Getting rid of these kinds of people is good and it's nothing like taking their home. At all.

Edit, no point in responding about how misguided people are. MS aren't killing people's games, which proves that those defending this fake policy were completely wrongheaded all along.

“The fundamental cause of the trouble is that in the modern world the stupid are cocksure while the intelligent are full of doubt.” - Bertrand Russell

My question is why do people keep taking what Xbox support is saying about the Xbox One as fact? Every time someone gets a tweet from them a company exec says the exact opposite a day latter.

I'm misguided yet you compare xbox games to houses... Ok buddy.

Punish the few troublemakers for the good of the masses? Nothing wrong with that. It's certainly better than banning people for nothing and it's worked in society since... there has been society!

Wow, is this shit even legal? Surely an EULA cannot trump consumer's rights, even if they do disguise it as a service...
