Ms could be tricking people, we will never know

Of course we will, the console will be released this year, with games available.

Uhhhh

How do we know that they were pushing the Titan GPUs to their max?

Maybe they lowered the settings to better resemble the Xbox One, and just opted for Titan+Windows 7 for stability reasons for their demo booths?

The key here is that Dev kits have more memory but they don't have a different chipset and certainly don't have a different graphics card.

Battlefield was shown using a PC that much we know.

What we don't know (and probably wont until launch) is how much quality difference there is between what has been shown and what is available....

*BUT* with sites like Eurogamer and people on the internet, they will soon find out the differences. I get the impression that the PS4 is more powerful than the XboxOne, I am getting the PS4, so I am not too concerned about it... but if people are, i would wait until after release and some game comparisons come out, it wouldn't be long after.

That reliable source has been wrong on many occasions. Example:

He also said that Final Fantasy XV was exclusive to Playstation 4, and that Sony was helping to get it released on a timely fashion. He also said Sony was trying to secure Kingdom Hearts 3 before the conference.

finalfantasy xv is a ps4 exclusive

Thing is... unless they explicitly say, we won't know.

Stuff should be demoed on actual hardware.

Are PS4 demos run on PS4 consoles?

Dev kits. Even though the consoles haven't even been manufactured yet, demos are always run on dev kits.

So Xbone games running on PC confirmed? Should be easy to hack the final games to work on PC again :)

Same goes for PS4. Both consoles are nothing more than PCs in camoflauge. Both running on x86 architexture gives that away.

Not at all. Both consoles are so much different than your ordinary PCs. Both are using APUs w/ unified memory. This alone makes them much more efficient than a PC ever hopes to be. This also allows future next-gen games to match high-end PCs a few years for now once devs start optimizing for every drop of power. So no, these aren't just PCs, they are much, much more.

Nope.

If you'll notice.  Battfield 4 was demoed using the PC.  Pretty much all the multiplat games that use PC were.

Why?

PC STILL looks better.

Afterall, think about this (likely false) rumor.

Titan GPU's CAN'T be part of that kind of unified architecture.

So in otherwords.  High end GPU's > Next Gen graphics.

If that wasn't the case, this rumor wouldn't be a negative.

Console power has... as always, been greatly overexagerrated via PR hype.

Consoles don't need good hardware. Just "optimize" the game to run on the hardware and it will look just as good.

$1200 version confirmed?!
