yea, their commercials are horrid. I watch those and become a little embarrassed at times.

I pretty much agree with everything you put up there. But price cut will be only temporary fix if they can't keep releases coming, whether it be VC games or indie games. I really like the indie scene right now, just purchased Mutant Mudds.

Are there actually commercials for it airing right now? I think I remember one, maybe that I saw a couple months back for lego city.

Those are horrible and yes they aired them.

I haven't seen any new ones lately though.

the price cannot be cut b/c the packed in wireless tv. New ad slogan would be a good thing. But that cant fix the problem. The problem is a lack of a must-own game. ZombiU, Monster Hunter, Lego City, Pikmin, Wind waker, etc are all superior games compared to most. But they lack mass appeal. Halo, gta, Final fantasy, those have mass appeal.

Im afraid only Zelda with realistic grahics can save our WiiU. If X and Bayonetta released this christmas that'd do it too since ps4 and x1 will be weakest at launch.

Well Nintendo have just said they'll be no price cut. That could change now, though...

2 and 3 will likely happen in some form however.

It should. Could it anytime soon? No idea.

I agree with points 1, 2 and 3. And if a price cut should happen, ambassador program dat Wii U. The early adopters certainly deserve to get extra stuff.

Iwata also said more third party games are in the works, so I won't mention it as a requirement for relaunch. But a relaunch did wonders for the 3DS, the Wii U could use one when getting a pricecut.

i'm kinda confused as to why people want to get rid of the basic console. I'd much rather have a 250$ basic or basic with a game that's not nintendo land for 350$. Why not just drop the price of both or get rid of the deluxe? I personally don't think the extra 50$ justifies the value, then again i'm not real up to date on what the online extras are. Just know i wouldn't pay 50$ for nintendo land and a hard drive i won't need or can buy later.

Well, glad I didn't see them then xD Whats with the whole actual wii u owners compensated thing. Was that even necessary to put in.

What does "relaunch" even mean? Recall all the systems and games, offer refunds, and then sell them out all over again?

Making new bundles, cutting prices, and such, is not relaunching. It's changing trajectory.

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

1. I'd see that right before black friday...
2 and 3 certainly helps, a lot!

And proud member of the Mega Mario Movement!

I think they should offer Premium Black Wii U Console without Nintendo Land to appeal auidence which isn't really that interested in a mini party game selection.

Also offer Premium Wii U Console in white with Nintendo Land Pre- installed on the Hard Drive. A white console would appeal more towards a casual audience than the current black edition. I know you won't save much from removing physical copy of Nintendo Land from the console. But it still a saving nonetheless and the game size only 3gb, so you are not losing that much hard drive space. It also advertise the console ability of have games in digital format on the hard drive and cuts down of number of potential used copy of Nintendo Land being available.

Yeah i think they need the price cut now since most of there games are not comeing out untill next year. I dont believe thats gonna happen though. So i think its important for them to keep the $300.00 model. Once the casual folks and parents start to get really involved the lower cost model will come into play. Nintendo seems determined to wait and see what happens once they get a few big games out. If most of the games were comeing this year that would be a fine idea but since there not i dont think there gonna have as good a christmas as they want. I think u will see the pricecut at e3 next year after the big games are out and the sales while better are still not great.

Price cut certainly.

Better advertising absolutely - I suggest they de-empathize the gamepad and focus on family-friendly games. This is their best distinction from PS4/XBoxOne. Challenge here is, these games still look like Wii games and people might be willing to buy them (for a Wii) but reluctant to shell out even $300 for a new system that 'plays the same games' as the one they have.

Including Mario World instead of NintendoLand - yes, also goes with de-empathizing the gamepad idea.

E-shop? Could actually be a bigger seller than people here think if it's handled right. The mass market is very used to downloading Apps now, so showing a large selection of smaller downloadable games would be appealing.
