That's pretty daft but they probably use the controller to turn it on or off

It's sad what qualifies as news to some lately... Anything to bash the X1. Especially considering it's false.

They released pictures of the mainboard - since then it was clear it'd be external (this is known since ~ 3 weeks).

Locking since it's confirmed to be false.
