Would be nice to low this value to R$1500, but I think you are very right. And it is an ok price, all things considered. The PS3 import was R$5.000 at launch, of course, this price did not last for long.

If Sony sell at this price I will probably make an effort to get one at launch. I received my LAST OF US today by mail, I had preordered. That impressed me, today is the worldwide launch and the brazilian version is already in my hands, not bad at all for a third world country =D

 Sony.br is trying to do a good job and I respect that.

I was shocked at that myself. I went in expecting to drop $55 to preorder both a PS4 and Killzone and when the clerk said $105 I was like O_o

Internal forecast was the wording, as in unofficial not public? But if that is the case, they and anyone can say anything about internal forecasts.

On the other hand, Sony knows the preorder numbers and it's probably better than previously predicted.

my gamestop sold out on Tuesday..I got mine that day..2nd person to do so. I called them today and they said they have more PS4 pre orders...

Funny, I remember when they claimed that they would sell 16 million units within year one. I thought they were crazy, now I m thinking they could sell more if they can make that many. Which is what I think they are doing right now. They better be making 10 million console for launch at the very least. We might have a record-breaker in our hand. Better have extras while you are perceived favorably then have a shortage.

i will be selling on of the ps4s on launch. managed to get on 2 launch systems, it will be great to break even and sell one off for $800 or more. i remember the x360 prices were crazy when it came out and i missed out on that action, not this time.

Apparently they havent started mass production yet, so i guess they had better hurry up :)

I think they already knew when they announced PS Plus, that was basically the builld up for it. But it is funny how things have changed. Back in the day Sony would lose a lot of money on early adaptors. Now they probably break even or only make a slight loss on each unit, and the earlier their install base builds up the more money they will make on their online service.
