those esram issues are bad, if the console is not delayed, it will likely get downclocked, the GPU will, which would make the system even weaker than it was before, potentially causing the games shown on the floor to look less impressive

Amazon UK/FR/US all have placeholder dates. It probably means Xbox One is releasing later in Europe than US though.

Likely a non-issue.

Amazon France might just be concerned with their allotted stock counts and decided that they will instead tell everyone end of year in case they don't have enough.

As others have said, it's just a placeholder. However, we do not know MS's plan for the Xbox One launch outside of the US, I believe, so there may be delays to releasing it in 2013. We do know it's not launching in Japan, immediately, since their map doesn't have them colored in as supported.
