YES THEY ARE! Its unbelievable people are defending the online checks and used game policy, really unbelievable.

Even if I had a perfect connection which I and millions of others dont, the 24h check would still suck! I dont want to be restricted in any kind of form.

The feeling alone that I need to check in with MS every 24h to play my 60 euro game is putting me off, and so should it you.

Your phone checks in and if you don't pay your bill your phone is worthless. So you accept that.

I agree that biggest outcries on this site are from people who never going buy a Xbox One anyways.

Agreed and as soon as Sony does it, it will be ok. Also if it wasn't this, it would have been something else. Everyone here said they would leave sony if Multiplayer was charged. Not one person is pist.

Yeah but your not stuck with the carrier you got your phone from. You can unlock it and get a sim from anyone, so it's not quite worthless. Also, you don't have to do anything with your phone. The carrier is happy to just take your money, whether you use your phone or not in a certain way, they just don't care. Microsoft is forcing people to check in to even play a game. How is that the same as a phone?

The problem is that a lot of countries don't have good internet connection. This console will only launch i like 21 countries, or something like that. The problem with the future is that it arrives at different times in different places. I think a lot of people is bitching about this because they see it as a bad move for the industry, not just for MS.

How come these hardcore defenders of Xboxone just don't get that the restrictions itself are the major problem most have...?
I'm always online but I'll never buy a console that requires me to. Their new policies offer mere restrictions and restrictions are bad. Period.

So maybe you could finally man up and say that Xboxone's policies are consumer unfriendly and despite that; you still love the brand and will happily enjoy it.
