DRM is completely different. Mandatory vs optional. And the exclusives list...the true exclusives, are now speculating as timed.

What DRM has Microsoft made mandatory?  A once-a-day check in that they have been extremely up front about.  The only exclusive of Xbox ONE receiving even base timed speculation is Titanfall, and they have made it clear they havent green lit anything, letalone actually started work on a port.

Anything a third party publisher will do for a multiplat on Xbox ONE they'll also impose on the PS4 version.

And that is without the enormous advantage of being able to share your games, online, from ONE disc, with TEN of your friends.

This may not be your cup of tea, and that is fine, but it is certainly not 100% nonsense.

Registering to an account is mandatory for all games. Did you not know this? Well sorry to break it to you.

Third party publishers don't HAVE to impose anything because MS is already doing it lol. I don't know who got the idea that publishers would be programming in DRM into xb1 games when MS' entire strategy is to do it FOR THEM lol What are they going to port over? Nonexistant code?

Ten of your friends is unconfirmed. Depending on how this ten friends thing works out, I may actually buy an xb1, but I'll bet there are all kinds of limitations on this.

Just a week ago they were saying something completely different, so I'll wait and see on this issue.

Previously they said, bring your game to a friend's house and log in, once you leave, and take your account with you, he still has the game installed and can choose to buy it.

Yes, it could be, or there could be something they aren't telling us.

If they actually do give us 40 dollar games, I will consider rescinding my hatred of them. However, now that I know that is a possibility, if I don't see cheaper games, they can fully expect me to stay the hell away from them. I personally never abused used games that much in the first place. I loan PC games all the time, but that's Steams grievance not Xbox's.

Cloud computing, TV streaming with amalgamtion of services.  Frankly, I think MS's initial offering will be far from perfect, but I expect it to improve substantially over time.

 

Particularly for you, you're in the US correct?

Seriously, if I can actually run games with 10 friends using whatever we're sharing, and games are only costing 40$ I will buy myself and my friend an xb1.

This will never happen.
Plus we have yet to see what the cloud is going to cost

what epic bullshit, i can do that on my PS3 you know, its called digital downloads. 


he also makes it sounds like PS4 does nothing but play games, when that is simply not the case. they announced shitloads of services like netflix and amazon video. it also plays bluerays and dvds. microsoft are acting like xbox one is this huge multimedia device that does stuff that we never seen before, "search shit on bing", who the hell would want to search something in a middle of watching a movie on their console? i have a laptop, a cellphone, i can use those to search stuff when i want, and do it MUCH better. kinect voice commands? oh wow, because pressing a button is so hard!. 

honestly all these "advantages" are pure nonesense, what advantages does it really have over a ps4?
