Forums - Gaming - Anybody know the lead platform on the following games?

Battlefield 4, Watch Dogs, Assasins Creed IV?

Around the Network

There is no real lead platform, they are all the same! The concept of a lead platform is mostly gone, but they will just make PC games then port them the best they can

EA games are likely Xbox One.

I'm not sure on Ubisoft as the only tidbit was that WDs was lead on "next-gen" which includes WiiU and current-gen was by a different studio.

However, with the engines ubi is likley working with they are designed to be platform independent and scalable so its likely just built on a PC with testing done on each platform.

Was Battlefield 4 on the EA conference on xbox one?

Ubisoft showcased Watchdogs, The Division and Assassins Creed 4 on PS4 throughtout the last few days. Battlefield 4 was showcased running on a PC. So in general I think it will be designed on a PC primarily, but I honestly reckon the PS4 will be the lead console platform. Just my opinion.

Prediction (June 12th 2017)

Permanent pricedrop for both PS4 Slim and PS4 Pro in October.

PS4 Slim $249 (October 2017)

PS4 Pro $349 (October 2017)

Battlefield will always be PC.
PS3 or 360 are definitely not the lead platforms for Watch Dogs.

PC, PC, PC

I can assure you I am 100% right on BF4. Also developer at DICE themselves said PS4 is stronger and will benifit from better graphics...

PC.

Considering XBone and PS4 are x86 I would place my bet on PC.
