Forums - Sony - Still excited for Knack after watching this Gameplay demo? I'm not.

Platformers thrive on variety - it's too early to tell if it's a dud.

Looks, ughh, not for me.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Currently playing:

Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

Got a retro room? Post it here!

I'd reallllyyyy rather have had a Rachet & Clank game......

I mean it looked okay but there is no way I would pay full price for it.

I'm still going to give it a chance, just base on the fact it of not being another shooter.

Don’t follow the hype, follow the games

Here a little quote I want for those to keep memorize in your head for this coming next gen.

Why would you think that this looks like shit? It's an E3 demo, not a finished product. Wait for the demo to decide if it's shitty or not, that's why we have them ;)

You're right, It is anE3 demo. A E3 demo less than six months from launch, the gameplay isn't going to change between now and november. There could be alot more to the game than what they're showing off today,  but Demos are supposed to give you an impression of a game. The impression I've taken away is that this game was designed for an auidence in 1997, where 3D platforming was new and novel. I use the term "platforming" very loosely, there is little non in the actual demo. Its just running forward and pressing square when you see an enemy.

I would go for "not hugely impressive"

Some bits of it look good... It definitely does have nice particle effects

Looks very bland. Hopefully that's just because development is still early on.

I like what I saw...looks fun to me.

Game of the year 2017 so far:

5. Resident Evil VII
4. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
3. Uncharted: The Lost Legacy
2. Horizon Zero Dawn
1. Super Mario Odyssey

huh? everything looks fine :D wth

Like a great platformer, what do you expect¿ :D

Yeah, not the best.

If this was sped up a bit, I'm sure it'll look better.

As with everything I'll wait for the reviews. Between Mark Cerny & Japan Studio's respective track records, though, I'm not at all worried.
