the only reason of that is because you may have played a final fantasy game before, but not Xenoblade Chronicles on which X is based.

I've played Xenogears, and Xenosaga 1,2 and 3 but haven't got around to playing Xenoblade Chronicles. 

X for sure. The presentation might not be as shiny, but the gameplay (basing this a bit off of Xenoblade) is most likely going to be better than FFXV (which is pretty actiony = not that into it personally).

I'm interested in FFXV more for the story. It's supposed to be this really dark tale, involving themes like death. I didn't want to spoil by reading anything else about the game.

Project X. I've never really gotten the craze about VSXIII, myself.

Depends, X sort of looks like it is cleaner and will have more colors, while XV has more effects going on the screen. They both look similar but given the development time, I'd honestly be surprised if XV (which I believe is supposed to land in 2014) doesn't look dissimilar since it originated on similar hardware and was only bumped up because the long development time.

XV should animate better just because of the hardware but graphically I think they will be on par with one another.

Final Fantasy XV, for sure. Been wanting to play a FF with a real time battle system ala Kingdom Hearts, for quite some time now.. And now we get to have one! Plus, the game has been in development for so long that I'm just glad it's finally coming.

X does look really though..

Its obvious which is the better game btw FF15 is also on Xbone.
