Blech. I hope that's not a major focus. I just want a good old ARPG to give me a reason to actually buy a WiiU, not a monster hunterish game.


I doubt the focus will be on multiplayer. It seems more like a natural addition since the combat and level structure are already inspired by MMORPGs, though both aspects seem to be much more action-paced and interactive in X. In any case, it'll probably be a small-party affair of about three people.

Some of you guys are not bothered by the fact that the FFXV(FU Square, I waited for Versus 13 on PS3 for years...) trailer was pretty much all QTE?

I think X is more representative of what the gameplay experience will actually be like.

I couldn't really tell from the FF15 trailer...

So yeah gotta go with X

BTW, I'd just get both anyways, though FFXV is now questionable since the PS4 now requires pay to play online, so I'm most likely not going to buy it at all, stay on PC gaming and stick to Nintendo for now. It's really fucking sad.

Is there another X trailer I've missed? There's obviously a lot of questions to be answered about what the gameplay of FFXV will actually entail, but there's so much intricate real-time stuff (if it ends up all being a scripted scene I'll retract my statement) going on on-screen during the gameplay segments of the FFXV trailer, and X is predominantly just a casual stroll through an open world landscape. It actually reminds me of the old Versus trailer lol.



It's all about the game.

There is one from January that showed off the battle system.
