Only bad thing is that there are better versions of these games available on other platforms. If they were equal, than all you would have to compare would be exclusives next to exclusives.

Im sure the Deus Ex port will be the definitive console version

Well, that one will be easy to determine, since it's no longer WiiU exclusive, so DF will most certainly be doing face-off.

Well, in my opinion, it does look good, but nowhere near as good as next generation games, epsecially MGSV.
Several ps3 games look just as good to me.

At any rate, it stilll looks great, which should be the point, not silly comparisons, right?

Its not exclusive anymore but i doubt many people will want to pull out their smartglass and vitas to play the game. I think it will be deninitive proformance-wise, hopefully, if the port isnt halfassed

Not to poop on your parade but I think people are making too big a deal out of this. Does the game look good? Yes. Does it look mindblowing? I don't think so.

Just curious, but did you think any game shown in this E3 was "mindblowing", actually? I didn't saw that much of a difference between most games shown and current gen, in fact, the only game that actually looked next-gen for me was the Halo trailer, and that was a CG.

Yes, I do. inFamous Second Son is one example. I suggest you take a look at the new gameplay trailer. There's a huge difference so stop lying to yourself

Then there's the 3rd party games such as The Division and Destiny and Titan. Those have next-gen elements that are more than just graphics.

Other than the higher res, the biggest improvement is actually lighting so far since the PS4 actually has the resources to pull it off now, this whole next gen thing has a lot of emphasis on lighting from what I can see so far which isn't saying much yet. I honestly think that we won't see anything mind blowing for awhile IMO, but I'm used to PC graphics though, we've had that kind of lighting for awhile if the game supports it on PC.

I'm used to PC graphics too but I think it looks really impressive. Maybe it's because its not an FPS I guess. Too many FPS "powerhouses" on PC

still X has been anounced for months now and not even one single proper HD pic of X has been released.

Because that's not how Nintendo operates. That's why they never released (and will never release) official Wii U specs. Polygon-counting is well outside their sphere of concern.

nintendo started operating this way only after the wii, the reason they hide  the specs is because they are insanly low specced consoles.

Nintendo has always acted like this, the Wii is no different. Besides if you're expecting Nintendo to bring out hardware that is going to push the limits of a generation then you will be setting yourself for constant disappointment. But if you're expecting Nintendo games to look on par with previous generation games, you'll be equally disappointed.

So far, X is the only game that I'll really miss next-gen, since I'm planning to get a PS4. That, and the inevitable Metroid, which god knows when it'll be released.
And I haven't even played Xenoblade yet, but I'm impressed by both games. Xenoblade doesn't give a fuck it's on the Wii.
DAMN YOU MONOLITH!

no they didn't they really showed off there specs with nes, super nes and N64 and gamecube specs were givin out from the very start, as for expecting it look on par with previous generation, i didn't expect that at all, i expected at the least for the wiiu to run current gen games at 1080p with great AA, so far what i'm seeing doesn't match the best of 360/ps3 Imho.

MGSV  I agree

PS3 games   hahaha good one  next time dont look at the Nintendo direct using a GBA screen   thanks.

Dont mix up huge scale and good graphics with   corridor games that have similar graphics. Its like saying  the floaty Mario 64 face you could manipulate looked like PS2 games.

The first PS3 game that might rival  X  wil l be GTA5.  RDR for example looks worse. (has 20-30 fps, low res textures, and simple terrain)
