Survivor Millennial vs Gen X!!
Really enjoying it, last night I finished 50cc since I finally had time to play, tonight will be 100cc, tomorrow 150cc, then online all the way after that for the most part after I get back from my vacation like a week and half from now, mostly getting used to the new mechanics. Good shit so far though, I never really cared much for battle mode even though I did play quiet a bit due to lawlz, but the races is where it's at!

If you're good at Mario Kart, you can actually have a chance to excel, because there's LESS item fuckery, and NO ridiculous advantage to the bikes. Now all the vehicles are more or less on even ground, which is the way it should be. So of THAT, I'm a big fan. Plus, it needs to be said, this is also the first game since MKDS to have some truly inspired/imaginative track designs again. |
Glad to hear that the tracks are very fun once again! Too bad I will have to wait another 3 weeks to get MK8!

1. This whole game seems like it was rushed. No options for horizontal split. You don't see the map on the tv. No options to change the control layout. I'm not surprised that they didn't create a real battle mode. Fortunetely all of this can be implemented with DLC which Nintendo is usually pretty good about it.

I just have to say that I've been playing this with my wife and the fact that we can play grand prix and still unlock everything and get 3 stars on each cup is pretty awesome. I don't have to unlock everything in single player first:)
But ya, the level design in this game is pretty phenomenal.

Yeah it really sucks. Not even an option for it. I try to keep the tablet close to have a sneak peek during races. It just dies on me mid race though -.-
If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.
I won't be able to race today, sorry. But I already have the game, so next time I'll play for sure!

It is a little bit surprising to not at least have the option...
Hopefully such will be implented in the future.
Ok, finally playing. So far really good, just finishing 50cc, still have to test Online. But I'll play for sure.
