Then excuse me, im gonna make a thread asking for a list of PS4 exclusives announced. Because I feel like this little detail was sweeped under the rug and policy/price is taking the spotlight.

I would have to Disagree with sony not taking a risk, they have always takin pretty big chances on the game department especially with titles like Heavy rain and LBP, but sure there werent too many of those types of games at there E3 conference but i believe them to take more risks then microsft atleast in that department.

The design is horrible - for both, but if anything the PS4 design is slightly worse.

The thing is that PS4 lets you swap it out for a standard laptop hdd while Xbox 1 is completely locked down so you'd need to buy external.
Better design? Oh yeah, pure fact, science and logic. Let people decide what look they like. To me, it simply looks as shitty. Just a box. Weird shape. And it will collect way more dust that you can't quickly swipe off.

I will just stay off any new console and laugh about all the nonsense about them on the internet.

About your last comment, you should probably take your own advice. You're already spreading misinformation.

i agree that the x1 showed more exclusive games no one is doubting that...but it doesnt matter *atleast in everyones mind* because they BOTH have fucking amazing games coming...not only that but we dont even know if half the games showed are going to be good but lets just save the games list wars till the games actually get reviewed atleast...

Do you enjoy the games more when it doesn't show up  day one on consoles you don't own? How does that benefit you?

I get it first. Its first class treatment. How I feel that you have to wait is beside the point.

I stand by my previous comment. A PS gamer has to wait, get a PC version and neglect the PS4, or not play it at all.

I agree that Sony is ahead on price and DRM (how could you not?) but when it comes to the design, both consoles are unappealing. I think that instead of the HD Twins, I'll call them the homely twins.

Sony has outmaneuvered the heck out of Microsoft thus far.

And, honestly, that's a real shock to say. Usually it's the other way around. Usually Sony flubs up, leaks everything, and comes across as the bad guys. This year, Microsoft did all those things, while Sony, on the other hand, had great security, announced things at the exact right moment, and had tighter control on information.

Even holding on to the no-DRM information was a masterstroke.

I really think last gen left Microsoft conceited and over-confident, and Sony a bit more humble and focused. That's really all I can think of to explain the complete role reversal.

A more powerful, smaller, cheaper, less restrictive console. Seems good to me.
