I am expecting a massive list of must own games to be announced today, so many that my wallet will explode at the thought of the cost. Please Ninty, make us proud!
| pokoko said: Well, that'd be kind of fair after your posts in the Playstation thread, wouldn't it? It was obvious that you didn't want to like anything from the start. I'm sure there will be trolls in the Nintendo thread, which is a shame, but I don't think you should be the one complaining about it. |
We're assuming things now?
OT: I doubt it. Nintendo has been weak on the E3 Front for the past few years now. They were good, but Sony's Conference had that surprise factor. Nintendo has many of their cards layed on the table (great cards, no doubt!) and I doubt we'll be surprised. Nintendo has things to prove this E3. They aren't just in a "perfect position."
- Not saying the Direct won't be good. Because, boy oh boy, it should!
So exited. Only half an hour to go. Bring the games

Actually, i've started to agree with superchunk. Mobile gaming is shifting heavy to phone/tablets and soon enough will overshadow dedicated handheld gaming. The fact is Vita didn't work out very well and 3DS is _not_ picking up the slack, as good as it is selling, it's not near enough. Mobile gaming will be phone gaming by a landslide.

SSB4 trailer will beat it

x, mario kart & 3d mario automatically means nintendo won E3... however winning e3 means nothing unless they can ingnite the console

mobile already sliced a really good chunk from the handheld market, i didnt admit that at first but its just true. but that doesnt mean there isnt a market for handhelds though, it wont be as big as last gen (230 million!!) no where near that. but there is still a healthy market to cater to

Also noted, I feel as though all three will do great (especially after seeing yesterday) but I don't think there's a clear winner this year. Xbox One isn't that bad off, they just need to realize their consumers don't want some of those features and make them optional.
This E3 seems very software heavy which generally makes everyone a winner since there's actual, quality games, coming for all consoles unlike other years where it felt like no games were coming out except the big blockbuster titles. I'm glad to see the gaming calendars won't be empty going forward like the previous 3 years.
