No there's no talking on Brawl, yes there is a headset on the way it was confirmed by IGN's interview with NOA president Reggie, last I've heard is they're trying to find the device they want to use, but this has been about about two months ago, so probably already figured that out now starting to implement it, I would love to see it in Mario Kart Wii.

I wished I didn't work at GameStop for the simple fact of going to some GameStop that is holding a tournament and beat everyone lol, too bad I won't be able to participate =(...

Gamestop has not sent out the info about the tourneys to the stores en masse yet. And I can confirm that stores with at least 300 preorders (possibly less) will be having midnight launches.

No voice chat announced, but as seen here every character has three different taunts, and each can be assigned a short message. Better than nothing at least.
