You'll always be player 1 on your screen, even if you join a game with already 3 people in it. (Except if there's two of you playing on the same Wii of course!).

You're still on my list but it seems our schedules don't match... I haven't played you in at least a month if not two. I'd love to play you though, last time we played you gave me some comments that improved my Peach considerably.
