i thought the update was pretty stupid. most of those things i already knew. all they did was "refresh my memory" on something that isnt even that important. if theyre gonna put something obvious then make it cooler.

You knew all that? I didn't know it. When I just played melee now a few minutes ago, it was really helpful to know.

OMG! WTF? I just saw a Brawl tournament on TV! A norwegian channel were the 64 best players from a melee tournament that had been a few months ago, played. Unfortunately, this had only been done in Trondheim, so I had no option to join (and get owned).

Most of the players were kinda meh, but some were actually fairly good. As this was a tournament, and most people had never played Brawl, most people played Fox/Falco, but they didn't win a lot.

They stopped at the quarter finals, because some guy broke his GC controller, and they didn't have any more (so you can see this wasn't very proffesionlly done). There was only 4 original Melee players left. The others were Wolf, PT, Olimar and Dedede.

It was kinda interesting to watch, but some nutty commentator kept standing in front of the camera.

Anyway! Well done Brawl, that was, according to the commentator, the first televised tournament done on a Nintendo Console, ever!

Oh, and they played almost only on self-created stages, and most of them were pretty cool!

For melee, I just finished the last unlockable!, I think. Event Match 51 is done! Last time I unlocked something, was March 2007, and before that the last was 2005. So yay! Done!

I think it is a Norway only channel, and this was in Norwegian. It was today at noon in Norway (4 hours ago, or so)

It wasn't listed anywhere neither, I guess it was just a fill in for something that didn't come.

where do you live? i know it says tajikistan or whatever but for some reason i find that hard to be true. what type of tv do tv connection do you have? cable? satellite? and what channel number?
