Don't let him out space you, and take advantage of the lags after his attack. Also be careful of the jabs, use your f-tilts as Metaknight to keep him on his toes. Btw, when he's using his Side-B to recover just fly up their and spam air dodges, Ike can't get past air dodges and automatically attempts to hit the target causing him to fall to his death while you make it back safely. I don't know about aether though, the best I could say is edgehog if he tries to sweetspot the ledge. The only people that can gimp Ike's aether AFAIK without edgehogging is Marth (counter), Sheik (Aerial, I don't know how, but it's on smashboards so :/), and Zero Suit Samus ( Forward B special) Also when he grabs you, hold your control stick away from him to avoid Down grab into aether. >_>
