No, I'm jumping all in on the PS4.

Every ps3, future ps4 owner should be a plus subscriber anyways due to the benefits. This is not an issue at all, I wholeheartedly welcome it due to the level of trust and faith that Sony has in their fans/consumers.

Fuck! Why? NooOoo! Argh! I'm so upset! This is such a bummer. Sony I am disappoint.

I'm not mad cause at least Sony is giving next gen game Driveclub for free and 3 other confirmed indie titles, I'm also Plus+ already but I undernstand why some people are pissed.

PS+ is a great deal and I already want to stay subscribed to it. Not only will you get free games every month, which was mentioned, but you will likely get great discounts and access to betas. Yes, it's a bit of a dick move, but it was likely necessary to keep the cost of the PS4 down. There will likely be plenty of single player games on the system.

Of course, the way Jack worded it was a bit confusing, so this might not be true (it likely is) and we'll need 100% confirmation from Sony's part.

PS Plus is such a great deal. This doesn't shock me due to XBL requirement. Still, the console with the service is an amazing value.

Terrible decision by sony. The decision to get a PS4 which seemed so easy now seems very difficult. Can't buy something that will lock my game's component unless I pay every year, regardless of what I get in return because we already pay for the game in the first place.

Cant have everything. Money is needed to maintain the servers and how do you think they could pull off that price tag? You'd rather go to the likes of steam and X1 where you dlicense the games you buy? The servers still belong to sony not you and it's still reasonable for them to charge you to use them.

Honestly, I personally would have preferrred $599 with free online (because it truly is the better value long term) but we saw what was the better strategy with the ps3 and 360 launch. Sony just wised up.

"Dr. Tenma, according to you, lives are equal. That's why I live today. But you must have realised it by now...the only thing people are equal in is death"---Johann Liebert (MONSTER)

"WAR is a racket. It always has been.

It is possibly the oldest, easily the most profitable, surely the most vicious. It is the only one international in scope. It is the only one in which the profits are reckoned in dollars and the losses in lives"---Maj. Gen. Smedley Butler

I'm not really fan of online, but I understand this is a bad thing.

I'm not sure how to spread this but it seems Sony has been listening to their fans(no DRM, and other issues) so maybe if we could spread an idea. I shared my idea of xbox gold having a paid subscription offering only the MP. Having a great MP may cost but why force you to pay 50 dollars when many people only want MP? Paying like 10/15 bucks for MP would have been ok I think. I shared this idea before but the xbox community just scoff me (one reason I stopped using this site but I'm back).

I think paying a minimum like 10/15 for all games (different from online pass because it's for a single game) would be ok but obviously free is better. Not sure what the playstation community thinks. Maybe Sony could get this idea if we all speak?

Sorry for bad English.

I don't like it, but PS+ is more than worth it alone, regardless of paying for online. If I had time to game more, I would already have PS+ again. And it wasn't even as good as the first year when I bought it.

I rarely play online (hardly ever nowadays) and I got PS+ the first month it was available.

With that said, I hate that they're going this route, and people that are upset about it are completely justified. I also understand SONY's mindset, especially if it keeps the price of the console down. And it's certainly a better offer than what MS offers.
