Forums - Sony - Does anyone know how many copies of Journey sold?

no clue, i know that it has over 70k owners on psnprofiles and has maybe already above 80k which is good but not amazing considering that people on such a site are probably more interested in those games as people who only play some fifa, uncharted or cod and don't care about those sites.

i would say maybe 500k and max 1m but that is just a guess.

I say it easily sold 1 million. Last I heard, it was the most successful game on PSN.

They are definitely not swimming in money.

Yeah, I was going to say perhaps 1m sold absolute tops.

By the way, i'm not saying ur wrong, just saying we dont know for sure how many were sold...  And I didnt know Minecraft sold that much!!! Damm!! so taking that into consideration, I think wat I said was more like wishful thinking!   :P

The worst 15 usd I ever spent on games.

They never said that.
It was at one (or more) point(s) the fastest selling PSN game.

Similar situation to State of Decay currently. 2nd fastest selling game on XBLA after Minecraft, won't have a chance of beating Castle Crashers (~3m sales).
Or Trials Evolution sold 3-4 times as fast as Trials HD, but still has 1m to go to catch Trials HD, which probably won't happen, since Trials HD is still doing good numbers.

Expect several earlier PSN releases to be above Journey, such as Final Fantasy VII, Super Stardust HD or WipEout HD.
