So, which games that have come out this year, do you think has a chance at goty? It can be based on reviews or personal play.  Future confirmed titles can be included.

Ha, Bioshock and The Last of Us are the most obvious so far. Beside the year is no where near finished, we must wait for when the huge wave of games comes around Fall/Winter.

GTA and Beyond: Two Souls may be contenders, and also some next gen launch titles

Right now Bioshock Infinite and The Last of Us are the only real contenders. The next closest thing is probably Tomb Raider, and that's not going to stand up to either of the other two.

GTA V will probably wind up being a real contender. Beyond: Two Souls and The Walking Dead: Season 2 might also be contenders, but considering their more minimalistic gameplay, their chances will likely rest on the strength of their respective stories/characters. The folks at Telltale can definitely pull that off, but I'm a little less certain about David Cage and Quantic Dream. Heavy Rain had some great narrative moments, but also suffered from some serious plot holes.

Tomb raider was really good, but doesn't feel goty good if that makes sense xD. The walking dead and gta def. Beyond, not really sure. It's a diff kind of game so, it might have a chance though.

The Last of Us is the current frontrunner and there are no contenders, nor are there likely to be unless someone has a surprise for us at E3.

It's really hard to imagine anything beating Bioshock and the Last of Us. But if I'm wrong, that's a good thing.
