Which next gen console is getting hacked first?

Xbox One 102 41.63%

WiiU 102 41.63%

PS4 41 16.73%

Total:245

Given by the PC architecture, gonna be easier to hack Xbone and PS4. But Xbone has that check process and all.

Gonna have to say PS4 on this one. By what you mean full on piracy hacks and all.

not that i know anything about hacking but...

..wouldn't xbone kind of be easy pickings comparatively? the system is already architect to run software installed on the hardware from any disc you stick into it. all you have to do is intercept/dupe the online validation and you'd have free reign to run any software you want.

add to that hackers are some of the most "rights" oriented people i know.  they'll think it's their duty to liberate the xbone.

You have the check the internet once a day thing, that alone will make the system a hell to hack.

LEGAL hardware has to check the internet once a day.   ..but passing a fake registry has worked for plenty of softwares before.  it means you couldn't take your xbone online ever again if anything..

WiiU

No one will hack a Xbox now since MS will brick the thing before it gets turned on. The god dam pirates are to blame for our misfortunes.

Short answer: I doubt that it is that easy to pirate (which has nothing to do with hacking) games for Xbox One.

well in my head hacking/pirating is really the same thing.  oh i know, there are like 20 guys that do custom firmware stuff or whatever but a vast majority of the hacking is just to get free games.  whether fully cracked or not,. if games can be pirated i'm counting that as hacked.

Depends on how MS is doing the checking thing. You can play pirated 360 games, the only thing is that you can't play online. I imagine you could do something similar with the X1. However, this will bring a lot of problems. How to make sure the system won't check online everyday, make sure the pirated games still work after 24 hours offline, how are the hackers going to fix the DRM stuff, etc.

Simple put, lots of bottlenecks. They will hack the X1, there doesn't seem to be any sort of black magic put in the system (like the cell processor on the PS3) but making a full public hack will take a while.

xbone its essentially made itself a target with its new policies there for the most motive is to hack that console

Hacking has nothing to do with the hardware-archticture. The "black magic" nowadays is crypto and the 360-pki has never been cracked, but yes, you can play pirated games, like you can with many ps3s. The problem with ps3 was that the security was implemented in a bad way so it could be exploited.

Almost certain to be the WiiU, if we are meaning which will happen earliest chronologically. If we're meaning which will be shortest time between launch and hacking then I suspect it'll be the X1 - there is just so much more to be gained from hacking it, because if you could fake a valid connection, you could get around all of the limitations like no used games, almost always on etc.

I won't argue your opinion but hacking would mean that the pki is cracked which most probably won't happen with Xbox One. It didn't happen with first Xbox, not with 360, thus I am concluding this. This does not mean you can't play pirated games, of course. But given how much Xbox One seems to rely on online I think ps4 gets "hacked" first.
