Its probably gonna sell "badly" on consoles full stop.
A 16 Month late Diablo 3 port isnt going to light up the charts.

I hope so, it certvainly deserves no better. The UI and controls look hopeless and the game itself is equally hopeless. I still remember fondly when a member on vgchartz referred to the game as; "Auction House Tycoon 3".

not worth it, it's a fairly bad game

given its blizzard, they may do one. WiiU would be a better fit than 360 or ps3

@ bolded. Very true that is why i would like a wii u version.
But I am sure it will sell like shit on the Wii U. I think it will perform poorly overall on all consoles. This a pc game after all besides most people who are interested in diablo already have it on the pc

It will retail for $59.99. Those who pre-order either console version will receive an exclusive in-game item: the Infernal Helm, which grants an experience point boost to any character who wears it, accelerating their progression as they rise in power. Certain retailers will also offer limited-edition preorder bonuses—check with your local retailer for further information. Both console versions of Diablo 3 will be fully localized in English, German, French, Latin American Spanish, European Spanish, Russian, Italian, Polish, and Brazilian Portuguese. Further release details, including retail availability in Brazil, South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Southeast Asia, will be announced at a later date. You can also play single-player or up to four can play via the same-screen through local cooperative play or online over XBL and PSN. Diablo 3 releases September 3 on PS3 and Xbox 360. |
dammit! i thought this game was going to be exclusive to PC and PS3/PS4... :/
| kitler53 said: huh, interesting. they way they worded the announcement i thought this was a timed-exclusive. |
They announced it at a Sony meeting, so it's clear that they weren't talking about any Microsoft versions, though it took them a bit longer than I thought to confirm other versions, since the rumors were already incredibly strong.
Could still be next gen exclusive though. (reminds me when shio called the PC version of Mirror's Edge a 2009 exclusive :D )
too bad i will be saving for next gen. no bc, no reason to waste money.
