Yeah in all fairness, Sony posted a profit a couple weeks ago, for the first time in 4 years. 

It's just sad really :(

It was the sale of two office buildings for $2 billion that allowed for the profit.  Now that those are gone, we'll have to see what they can do.

2. Uncharted series

3. Infamous series

4. Quantic Dream's new IPs.

5. The Last of Us

6. Resistance

7. LittleBigPlanet

8. ModNation Racer

9. Various smaller games from Japan Studio i.e. Tokyo Jungle, Trash Panic, White Knight Chronicles

I am sure u can name a few more, but pushing new IPs, new experience, that's what is going to represent gaming, not rehash of the same old shit.

Its easy to make games when you had the time to acquire a dozen internal developers since the mid 90's.

Even MS can pull this off if they had the manpower behind them.

all i can picture at the moment is Sony as a phoenix rising out of the ashes, the rebirth of Playstation will be the PS4 and it will increase the sales of the Vita i am sure of it just like the PS3 increased the sales of the PSP. Considering the PS3 has sold more consoles worldwide and in the countries that matter the most (Higher Prices), Sony has achieved a goal many declared a impossible one. So in other words OH YEAH! :D

Does all of North America not matter?

Here's the current breakdown for North America:

44.67 mil - Wii

43.99 mil - Xbox 360

26.68 mil - PS3

considering most of these consoles were RROD replacements and the fact we celebrate black friday and have extreme sales on xbox, and finally the many cheaper versions of xbox like the arcade. PS3 is winning! besides you know that europe and asia pay full price almost all the time for these consoles and games. The north american market seems to be very weak in price consistency, just a few weeks ago i saw halo 4 on sale for 25 dollars and the end of last year it was $60 O.O the hell lol

You can hope and say that sony is the best company for you and give them your blessing but when you start attacking other companies you lost any credibility, you sound like a gamer who only have know 3D gaming and nothing else, the gaming industry was pretty good before Sony ever entered and the game industry will continue like always without them
