I agree they need to show more stuff from third party? But whats wrong with monster hunter? While im tired of them using the same game engine....part of me still shells out love for the series.

Nothing is wrong with Monster Hunter. What's wrong is that MH3 is the only million seller 3rd party game on a Nintendo console in Japan since the SNES.

Around the Network

Nintendo's e3 will be my ideal if Mario Kart U and Smash Bros U will live up to my (high) expectations; if a new entry of the Metroid or the Starfox series or a new IP by Retro will be shown; if the WiiU will get its own version of Dark Souls with local multiplayer co-op.
Too bad I already know, I'll be disappointed :P

smash bros, metroid, zelda, X, sonic lost world details that excite (hope it's not a bomb), bayonetta2, announcement that bayonetta1 will be launched on eshop the same day as baynonetta2 is released, multiple new mature ips (in content, not necessarily in rating), new 3rd party partnerships leading to exclusive games ( good soul caliber legends or castlevania would be awesome), nintendo announcing they're publishing shadow of the eternals, and most importantly; an 8gig price cut with a preferable black color scheme. -4 of those are probably pipe dreams, but nice dreams *swoon*

The Deluxe does need to be $299. It's about $312 in Japan with current exchange rates right now, so I expect this is going to happen this fall. I think Nintendo needs at least one other 1st party game for Christmas. MarioKart isn't enough. Mario U, X or Retro's game need to be here. They need a core title badly, something with impressive graphics that new owners can brag about. Mariokart, like NSMB, is extremely popular but not terribly flashy. When Wii launched it had Wii Sports, sure, but also the very nice looking and deep Zelda:TP that core gamers could get pumped about. WiiU has no exclusives right now that are of that style. If they have this and some 3rd party bombs like GTA, RE7, Ghosts, FF, Metal Gear, then Wii U could have a smashing 2013 finale.

As long as Toadette is one of those 15 Mario Kart characters, I would be down with what you said.
