PSP still about PS Vita and Wii still above Wii U :(

don't forget PS2 still had weeks where it beat PS3 into 09.  It's not all doom and gloom just because of legacy sales keeping themselves up (PSP is really strong in Europe).

So much next gen stuff that isn't able to move more units than cheaper current gen stuff. This really should make everyone think about how this stuff has clearly gotten "good enough". There aren't going to be enough people out there who can tell 720p/30fps from 1080p/60fps to spend several hundred more or additional dollars on the latest and greatest. Xbox One and PS4 will have the same problems to overcome.

But Vita is almost 18 months old now and strangely PSP has seemed to pick up again and do better than used to in some areas. I still remember people saying about how the PSP was dying 3 years ago, don't people exxagerate? I just hope to see some great stuff for Wii U and Vita at E3, they have been a bit dull recently.

But, i'm still waiting for Vita to get a price cut, it's been 4 months since it was done in Japan now. I want it but might as well wait now, maybe others agree here

So the expected by a lot of people Wii U boost is nowhere to be seen, even I expected it to be somewhere in the 27-28k range thanks to a few game releases and the alleged bump from xbone and PS4 negative news.

Vita barely breaking 30k and selling 20k less than PSP is just ohh...

PS3 strong as always.

Very weak opening for Resident Evil Revelations, expected way better as it was named the "Old School RE". Shame, probably being a late port from a handheld didn't help it, don't see other reasons honestly.

who expected Wii U boost in June? I sure didn't. Minimum earliest for any kind of boost is Pikmin 3, and I don't even see that doing much. The real sweet spot with Wii U is going to be when Smash Bros, Mario Kart, Mario 3D, Wii Fit all come out and maybe Yoshi to a lesser extent.

Not in june but this week. There were several threads about it:

http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=160796&page=1 - hence Barozi's post

And at least one more focusing solely on alleged jump of interest in Wii U after DRM info in xbone and PS4, but I didn't post in that one so I won't even try to find it, but belive there was at least one of them more.

So it is happening...PS4 preorder.

Greatness Awaits!

I thought the Wii U would have sales boost?
Maybe long term then.

It's just that simple.

I feel pretty stupid for my Wii U prediction. I expected the dual-release of Sniper Elite and Resident Evil to do something for the Wii U numbers, but I don't know why I did now. I mean, they're both year-old ports, and Sniper Elite was heavily cut down for the Wii U. I guess I expected the release of ANY game on the Wii U to spur some interest, given the drought, but I think I gave it a bit too much credit.

I believe in honesty, civility, generosity, practicality, and impartiality.

The PS2 also shipped 13.7 million in 2007.  Nintendo is only forecasting 2 million for the Wii this fiscal year.  Sony expects 5 million for the PSP and Vita combined.  Not really the same scenario.

Wii U still doing miserably as usual. How Nintendo could have pretty much ZERO games ready for it between launch and the 2nd half of this year just boggles the mind, especially when the only notable game they put out over the past 2 years for the Wii was Zelda SS.

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.

PS3 PSP PSVITA (combined) > Wii WiiU DS 3DS (combined) > X360 :)
