Simply they cant for the following reasons:

1- MS conference is ahead of Sony's, accordingly, Sony has a chance to tweak messages as needed.
2- Sony has not shown all its cards including but not limited to console capability, console design, Camera, touch pad in games, and new games and IP's which were not shown in first conference.

2nd point is stupid, because neither has MS.

1st point is just meaningless. This has always been the case. Somehow it is a big advantage for Sony to reveal the console FIRST and it is a big disadvantage for MS to reveal their games first. Double standards at its best.

Imagine not having GamePass on your console...

As if Sony already showed everything about the PS4… What we have seen at the PS4 reveal was just the top of iceberg.

Oh, and in case MS didn't notice it yet, the PS3 can already show televisions (and record the programs) in Europe. One just needs to buy the Play TV, an USB terrestrial digital decoder… That will be probably compatible with the PS4 as well. Unless, who knows, it will be included in the PAL PS4s.

oh yes, dvb-t which major private german tv-channels said they'd quit the service... good point. And of course $ony didn't show everything - who said the opposite? Both will show games and it is up to us to decide which is better and then we make our decision what we buy. Where is your problem?

I feel at this point in time Sony revealing their console at E3 won't be as good as it would of been if they showed it at the console unveiling. MS did a perfect job as far as showing their console at the right time and right place, for exclusives games Sony revealed 4 games while MS showed 2 I would say they are on equal grounds in terms of games at this point.

I think MS should focus on reviveing them selfs than killing Sony. it's an up hill battle for them from here on out.

THIS IS WHAT MICROSOFT ACTUALLY BELIEVES.

They surprised the world last week. Not in a good way.

Well, MS are on a roll lately. Bill Gates is again the richest man, the company is nearly worth $300 billion now. It's like backing the best team in a league against one that is struggling and has been for the best part of a decade. I'm confident that MS know what they're doing.

Just because they have money doesnt mean jack.  MS has a shit load of money and a company like sony who is strugling is seling more consoles.  Money doesnt mean quality.

Uhh, what? You've never heard of the saying, "you pay for what you get?"

Sometimes you're right and in this case you could be again but in general, you're way off.
