With almost twice the install base, 360 should have outsold Wii U by double.  This is acutally a good result for Wii U, or a bad result for 360.

The Wii U RE: Revelations attach rate is almost the same as the attach rate for PS3.  I would say that is a good indicator that people will by third party content on Wii U in a similar way thtat they will buy it on other platforms when content is good and released same day, same price.  At least in Japan.

Well, the 360 has 1.5x the userbase so I don't see anything weird about them being that close.

Wonder if SMT sales are tracked with those LE bundles.

Shin Megami Tensei 4 did a little less than expected(I predicted 200k) but is still a good number

WiiU also has less titles to choose from, which favors Resident Evil.

OK Wii U needs games like yesterday!

I didn't even notice how bad the WiiU numbers were. They're still higher than what they were here back in April, where it couldn't even crack 20k. -_-

Did the DS outsell all of the hardware combined again?

.. I expect new consoles to have higher attachment rates than 6-7 year old ones, because ususally those have a higher rate of not being in use anymore or being defect and/or replaced by a newer model

Vallhalla Knights opening higher then it's predecessors and with the 65k report from Marvelous there is a digital ratio of almost 40%.

So Revelations PS3 is at 115K in Famitsu, not far from 3DS opening. Significant numbers for a (very) late port and therefore a significant part of PS fans that are reluctant to shift systems. If it had stayed exclusive to 3DS the opportunity cost would have been massive. Hopefully they will apply this theory to Monster Hunter in the near future. And lol @WiiU version mostly on shelves.

And VK3 debut double VK2 + sold around 40% digital --> Marvelous AQL still rollin' on Vita :)
