Sigs are important for whatever people do with it.

But I would like indeed, to have the option for animated avatars. Maximum sixe of 250kbs would be enough for short animated avys.

Nope.

People have sigs disabled for the very reason of blocking out gifs and clutter.

This would just add more gifs and clutter.

So let me get this straight. You want to get rid of your signiture which has qutie a bit of space....and you can have your moving picture in it as well.......for a tiny box of one picture.....
