Exactly!
Hopefully we will hear something at Computex on June 5.

Why be excited though? It's the same technology throughout.

Nvidia is also using the same tech and the performance has increased about 30% (if you don't take into consideration the Titan), so AMD could do the same.
Besides, the sooner AMD launches its cards, the sooner Nvidia will have to lower its prices.
Please excuse my bad English.

I find the "bargains" are always the x950 cards. I.E. 7950, they can usually overclock (Or in the Radeon 6950's case, unlock!) well to the point you can make them go faster than it's bigger more expensive brother.
Usually the Radeon x850's are only $10-$20 cheaper the x870 cards, so to me they are never really worth it unless you're on a tight budget.
Still, I want benchmarks, especially some OpenCL stuff!

Most people can't go over a certain budget though and the x850 cards are usually sub $200. Also depending on which country you live in x950 cards are pretty expensive...and stay expensive.

Nah. Not always expensive. My old Radeon 6950's were $200 AUD each and they unlocked into 6970's.
Heck, I've seen a couple deals of Radeon 7950's for $180 here, that's a crapload of power for such a small price, equivalent in GPU performance of a Playstation 4 and Xbox One's GPU's combined.
However, quick look on newegg, the USA is paying more than us Australians, but keep an eye out and you will see a bargain, especially as the Radeon 8000 series comes in.

IMO i always find the biggest difference to be the step up from the X700 to x800. Anything above that is probably unnecessary for the majority of gamers. Also if you could get a 6950 at such a bargain what was the price of the 6850? Probably much less.
Also my comment about countries is obviously limited to my own experience but generally US prices are great. For you this might be different.
