Interesting how few responses this thread has. I ,mean I always see people here saying MS has no games, but apparently nobody can say what kind of games they'd love to see from them.

I would love to see Halo Wars 2, a side scrolling brawler and a Myst style game integrating Kinect. I almost forgot, a futuristic cyber punk RPG done properly.
I'd love to see them make a platformer to compete with the likes of Mario.
I'd also love to see them make an action/adventure game to compete with Uncharted.

My answer is cut out for me? I'm asking you guys what you'd like to see, not what you think we will see. Why come in with a response like that? |
MS much like Nintendo forces you to think realistically as in a wheelhouse of interest. Sometimes they surprise but these days its few and far between when it comes to genre. Nintedo is more experimental though, they just stick to change up gameplay while sticking with known faces. MS focuses primarily on what sells and sticks with that. I make my predictions based on the movements of the companies and their apparent mentality, and MS forces me to think realistically, rather than creatively.
I would love to see: More Action/Adventure, New IP characters (Because MS can't seem to make them themselves), A fighting game and more.

What in the world is Halo? Isn't it action/adventure?
Uncharted is a competition to Tomb Raider. MS doesn't need to cover that. Platformer it's where they should pick up after promising Kameo.

For me personally, I think there's one main area that they really need double down on. RPGs. MS had a good thing going for them back when Bioware was making exclusive titles for them. Titles like Jade Empire on Xbox, and the original Mass Effect on 360 were big selling points for me as an RPG fan. Fable has it's charm, but after the first game it's transitioned more and more into an Action/Adventure game. I'd love to see MS invest in creating a new powerhouse RPG franchise. |
I agree. They need to have some big RPG's. I don't see the point in Black Tusk making the next Halo for them when they've already got Halo and Bungie has Destiny. It might be a great game but if it's a shooter that's just like Halo then what's the point? At least do a new type of shooter. Nevertheless, an exclusive RPG is what they are missing.

That wouldn't be an investment for the Xbone, though. They'd be lucky to get a game out of him by next, next gen.

I put what I hoped they would do. Keep saying its a stealth troll.

Kyuu said: LOL good point but I think it wasn't his fault The Last Guardian took very long to develop, but Sony's. |
It's Sony's fault in so far as they didn't crack the whip on them. But from all accounts the problem is with Team Ico and the fact that they bit off way, way more than they could chew with the AI and physics.
