Rather funny. They probably thought going multiplat would be more profitable than anything they've ever done for Sony.

I don't think it's about a Sony or EA  thing... its just such an average game on all fronts.. it wouldn't do better if it was a Sony game

Had to, sorry.

Ongoing bet with think-man: He wins if MH4 releases in any shape or form on PSV in 2013, I win if it doesn't.

Yes, it certainly isn't looking good. Perhaps it can make it to 500k LT, but does it really deserve it?

Insomniac should never have tried something new and should have just done what they're good at.

I disagree with you there. There's nothing wrong with trying something new: Deadlocked was new; Resistance: Fall of Man was new. Hell, Ratchet & Clank itself was new once.

What they shouldn't have done is make a generic and dull cover shooter. There are quite enough of those already.

I think EA had something with them changing the look and feel of the game. I personally think the game is going to flop hard and hurt insomnia.

Sony is that way insomniac

Too bad the rumor is they're going to be on stage at E3 showing off an Xbone exclusive.

No one asked for this game and no one will buy this game.

I guess so, their initial concept was good but their new concept is what ruined it sadly. Strikes me like fear to do something dufferent

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

Meh.. still think it would have flopped

Most of us here weren't impressed when it was announced as Overstrike

The reviews actually made me more interested in the game, because the common consensus is "It's a lot of fun" mixed with "but it's generic as fuck".

That's where I think all the comparisons with Overstrike stand out. If they had gone with a more original setting; a more goofy premise, I think they'd be alright. They clearly have a workable TPS base, they needed to expand on that to make an interesting game, not a "let's play it safe" title.

I wonder if it'll outsell Army of Two: The Devil's Cartel.

Yup, i called it once i played the demo.

It seems like this idea could've worked for a cooperative MMO, but as a single player game... its not very good at all. Its also very rough around the edges in character development, story and the animation on those "acrobatic"sections.

I kind of scratch my idea wondering what they thought they were trying to do here. Consoles werent the proper veue for this game. Might've worked as a F2P mmo or online on the PC.
