Do yo Feel that the Xbox One Reveal was not a disater?

yes 53 32.52%

no 100 61.35%

maybe 10 6.13%

Total:163

the reveal itself wasn't a disaster, but to many it was underwhelming..they spent too much time on their services and not games; I don't think we saw a single live demo. it was the aftermath when all the new broke about the X1 that caused all this negatvity torwards MS.

I know MS said wait till E3 for games but they could've set the tone better torwards E3.

Thinking it was a disaster would imply some things went horribly wrong with it. But they didn't, they went exactly as I had expected (well, just a little bit worse).

TBH, I think it went rather well despite them not showing much of any game. They succeeded well on what they set out to accomplish, which was to show the box and its media functions.

Sony is getting a "free pass" on a lot of stuff when they haven't been 100% clear on the DRM free games. I think a lot of people will be surprised come E3 in regards to Sony but that's only a few weeks away so... We'll see.

Either way, and I might be a minority here, I've been digital only since 2008 on my X360 and my Vita has never seen a cartridge so this doesn't affect me in the least. Having options is always a good thing though so...

I feel it was super succesful, My friend that's barely a gamer was super impressed with the reveal when we were watching it, he made comments like "man!! if i don't buy an XBOX ONE when it comes out i'm going to feel like i'm falling behind!!".

"I envy you. You North Americans are very lucky. You are fighting the most important fight of all- you live in the heart of the beast."

Ernesto "Che" Guevara.

In my opinion MS should have communicated from the start that this reveal mostly would be about the services and partnerships they formed for the new console. There was a lonely statement ~ 1 week prior to the event that this wouldn't focus on games, yet at that point websites already had hyped it up for weeks..

looking through my eyes, it was a disaster. I'm sorry this is how i see it.

indeed, it was a great show, but not for gamers

The reveal itself wasn't a disaster at all, it was only boring. What happened afterwards was a disaster.

That's pretty much how I feel.  I didn't find it very impressive, but it wasn't really for me.  I don't care anything at all about television or social features on a console.  I'm sure there were people out there who loved it.

Afterwards, though, is when Microsoft fudged up.  They didn't have their answers in order or their people all on the same page.  That was the only mistake.

I thought both reveals were bad. Maybe you should add that to your poll. Sony didn't do enough,MS did too much.

The reveal was an adequate one, as a gamer I did feel a bit slighted it's like MS put gamers on the backburner for this reveal. My only issue lies with the name, I would have preferred Infinity, Fusion, 720 over One.
