I feel that the reveal was not suited for having many games shown since it was so close to E3...showing many games would of made their games at E3 sort of redundant thus giving Sony the upper hand

The reveal itself wasn't a disaster at all, it was only boring. What happened afterwards was a disaster.

They have 15 exclusives for next year how about showing one or two with gameplay and show how kinect 2.0 is more powerful than the previous kinect with a game that could not work properly with kinect one

Bet reminder: I bet with Tboned51 that Splatoon won't reach the 1 million shipped mark by the end of 2015. I win if he loses and I lose if I lost.
I do not think it was a disaster, I just don't know who the hell convinced MS that people who would be watching the conference would care about the multi media crap they showed. They said before the event, that they would be showcasing the console and the games would be at E3. So i did not expect a huge amount of games to be present. What i did expect was them to talk about the system more, talk about the hardware, the controller more, XBOX LIVE, and the cloud. Not TV. I could care less for TV i barely watch TV.
But w.e its done now and at least they showed the console, they have E3 and if they messed that up well good luck MS.
I thought the reveal itself was not a total disaster. But way too much sports for my taste. (They also accidentally a few other of my buttons.) I thought the videos about the impressive new Kinect 2.0, increasing the friends list to 1,000, in-depth with the new controller, and other 'after videos' were better than the reveal itself.
The big surprise was the new Remedy game. I am looking forward to what it can do at E3.

I gotta stick to my point E3 was way to close of a time frame to the reveal
The one key thing I noted from all this, while the reaction was bad afterwards MS have had FAR more press coverage and follow-up than Sony did with the PS4 announcement. Some would say that even bad publicity is better than no publicity. Still, I'm not sure who has the best momentum going into E3 after that rather uninteresting reveal.

lol..noticed the typo on the thread...
It was far from a disaster. Gamers may have been unhappy that few games were shown but they showed most of the console's features and actually showed the console and its dashboard interface.
