Nah they both expect a 100M when all is said and done.. The Wii would still be ahead !

Then it's time for us to educate :) Before the PS1 had Final Fantasy and all the most epic games of the time, those games were on Nintendo's Super NES. It was the most awesome system at the time, and the Playstation had the pleasure of sinking its teeth on that awesomeness, but the first true king was Nintendo, it is only a matter of time before the true king cements his throne for all time.

It is my belief that this gen's crash may give Nintendo that chance once again, but alas games today are merely a shadow of what they once were in the golden days.

I think no one is bragging because it feels deserved, like the PS3 earned it. There is no use bragging about something that should happen. So if PS360 overtake the Wii, no one will brag because most people will agree they deserve it.

Fair enough. That is a classy winner spirit and I support this.

We have to realise that the ps3 hasnt yet hit mainstream market price range. Depending on future support i woukld say the ps3 has a chance. The 360 doesnt. Especially given the need to pay for online play.
With that said, none of this influences what is the outcome of the gen that is now ending. The wii sold the most and the ps3 and 360 sold similarly comparitively. The wii has run its course as a product and will be withdawn in a year or two, same with the 360, but the ps3 should last a bit longer.

With the announcement of Xbox 1 and PS4, expect 360 and PS3 sales to drop and they still have 20 million plus to take the lead. The best thing that could happen is PS3 passes Wii so Sony fans will stop making themselves look stupid by trying to change how market leader has been judged since gaming began.

It will be something that MS/Sony fans will brag on internet forums, while Nintendo fans will not care anymore. Our minds are now in the horrible start of the Wii U.

I can't see anyone caring 4 years from now.

the wii already is in 3rd place, i dunno if anyones noticed but that sales number on front page has been irrelevant last few years with no new games and support now just dropped

if you mean will one day ps3 or 360 climb above a number on front page of VG then yes its a possibility
