On another note, PS fans in general tend to be the louder of the fanbases. This is due to being "attacked" from 2 sides. Both Xbox fans and Nintendo fans get on at PS fans, but Nintendo fans and Xbox fans tend to ignore eachother. Think of it more as a "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" thing. PS fans will be fighting on 2 fronts, while Xbox and Nintendo fans tend to just get on at PS fans.

Thus, you get the illusion that "The Internet is flooded by Sony fans".

Yeah that's kind of what I touched on earlier when responding to Danne. I agree, "fighting on 2 fronts" is the perfect way to describe it.

Also I don't believe Sony fans outnumber everyone. The point of the thread was that if Microsoft fans are going to pull the "Sony fans outnumber us on the internet, but not in real life" card, it's like they are saying that core gamers prefer Sony. Since the gamers who frequent gaming specific forums and sites are core gamers.

I dont think it has anything to do with "core" gamers prefering Sony.

Even if there was proof, its kinda irrelevant to any discussion. Doesnt matter what gamer you are, youre still a gamer.

The fact that Sony fans are the ones "always online" in the internet may be a troublesome thought for Micro.

So you turn yourself into the victims? Have you seen these forums lately? Every 2nd thread is bashing the X1 in one form or another, no way... Before then it was, WiiU is selling like crap, WiiU is not getting any 3rd party support, WiiU isn't named well, WiiU tablet controller isn't as captivating as the WiiMote...

Nah, its the other ones are happy playing games and doing things. While that certain groups panties are all in a bunch and they want to tear down other systems out of their fear and insecurities.

They are kind of ruining all gaming sites for a while. I hope things get better after E3, but the better some companies do, the more the trolls feel the need to throw excrement at it. Cause you know, that’s the best the monkeys can do.



 

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned.

Hi, did you miss all the Vita negativity threads? I'm definitely NOT saying Sony fans are victims in any way shape or form. I think the fighting on 2 fronts was accurate. Sony fans attack and are attacked on both sides. I honestly don't believe one fanbase is better than another at all.

I stated earlier I believe Sony fans appear to be more vocal simply because they are in the middle of Nintendo and Microsoft. There were a lot of Vita threads to go along with the Wii U ones and the reason there are so many X1 threads right now is because it JUST got announced and to be honest, a lot of people were disappointed in it.
